Fs ~90Hz, Qts ~1.33, Qtc in the sealed Karlson ~1.5 without any fill - power handling and sensitivity seem moderate, decent tonality, no overt "boom" ~$26 per driver. ~0.4 cubic foot rear chamber with polyfill might lower Qtc a bit
I want to buy the DVD to get better sound and video - what is the title of this DVD? Is it in print? Is it online? - was it all dedicated to/by Louie Bellson? The contrast of brushes and his kickdrums are awesome and the musicality topnotch. btw, the flash download lost synch and did some strange and unpleasant spastic looking things :^)
All speakers in the same spot = a disadvantage for the 17.25" tall Karlson 8. Watch out for high (machine gun) levels at the end of each track after the brief drumkit portion First speaker playing is stock 1954 Karlson 12 with Fostex FE206EN - - Second speaker is Tangband W8-1772 in BK20 back loaded horn and Third speaker is another W8-1772 in a 1955 Karlson 8.
Zoom H2 plus Audacity wavs - short section of guitar backhorn with Tangband then K12 Karlson with Fostex
- headphones are best to get a rough idea of their differences
sound starts 0:18 shaky camera - Overloaded the Aiptek - This Karlson has plenty of impact for a little cabinet (more imo than BK20) - "The Head" paper mache speaker needs new hair - my sheela-na-gig needs a paint job - lol
